Experimental Study on Stress Sensitivity Evaluation and Permeability Anisotropy of Shales in Songliao Basin

Shale oil and gas resources are abundant in Songliao Basin, shale reservoirs tend to have certain permeability anisotropy with different pore or laminar structures directions, there is no experimental analysis of reservoir sensitivity. To solve this problem, paper tests the by pulse decay method, obtains variation curve effective stress, analyzes data. The results show that basin basically 10 -4 mD, parallel perpendicular laminae shows strong anisotropy, about 3%-14% rock samples decreases exponentially increase stress. It provides basic data support ensure development Basin.
